Bright Trailer

Will Smith is getting back into the fantasy/science fiction world with his latest project BrightBright is a NetFlix movie that is reminiscent of MIB, instead of it dealing with agents dealing with aliens it’s officers dealing with fantasy folk.  With Bright, NetFlix is diving more into original content and it looks good.  Here’s the trailer, for Bright, through MovieClips Trailers YouTube channel:

Movie News

More news from movie land.  The Men in Black 3 film is scheduled for release on May 25, 2012.  Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones will be reprising their roles.  And shooting will begin on Mad Max 4: Fury Road in April, the next installment for George Miller’s franchise.  These two franchises have been good with the movies quality see-sawing.  Hopefully, both will be fun new installments.

AMV of the Week

This weeks AMV is from a few years back.  YouTuber technotronica made this AMV with Will Smith’s “Wild Wild West” combined with scenes from Trigun.  The editing has great moments were the images match up with the songs lyrics perfectly.  For this persons first AMV he/she did a great job.  However, this AMV was also his/her last because there are no other listings for this YouTuber.  You can find this on YouTube with the tag “Trigun-Wild, wild west AMV” or you can check it out below.

Amulet gets Writer

ICv2 is reporting that Ron Edwards is currently attached as the writer for a possible adaptation of Kazu Kibuishi’s Amulet movie.  Will Smith and his Overbrook Entertainment obtained the rights to Amulet in 2008 and is working with Warner Bros. as a distributor.  Hopefully this is a good sign and this project can now move forward.  Only time will tell.  Link to the brief article below.
