We are just having fun reviewing and discussing comic books, graphic novels, manga, anime/animation, music and movies that we have recently read, listened to or watched.

A link to the page is below, but here are a few of the winners: Best Limited Series – DayTripper by Fabio Moon & Gabriel Ba; Best New Series – American Vampire by Scott Snyder, Stephen King, & Rafael Albuquerque; Best Writer – Joe Hill for Locke & Key; Best Writer/Artist – Darwyn Cooke for Richard Stark’s Parker: Outfit; and Bet Publication for Kids – Tiny Titans by Art Baltazar & Franco.
The Will Eisner Award Nominees for 2011 have been announced. Check out the link below for the full listing of nominees. The awards will be announced at ComicCon. As librarians tend to do when something wins an award, this can be used, as a promotional tool, to strengthen your graphic novel collections.
