Since I have become aware of Emma Charles I have really enjoyed her voice. You can tell that she is very comfortable with her sound and delivers everytime. With Emma’s latest single “Vertigo” you get a contemplative song that has a nice beat to keep the listener hooked until the end. And Emma’s voice as I said already I love listening to. Check out “Vertigo” and her other singles in your digital vendor of choice and give her your support.

Scalped Pilot Ordered
ICv2 is reporting that WGN America has ordered a pilot for the DC Comic’s Vertigo title Scalped. The series will be an adaptation of Jason Aaron and R.M. Guera’s comic book series. If this comes to pass I would expect something on the level of the Walking Dead production, because this is a great story told for a mature audience.
iZombie Gets Life at CW
I’m liking the CW Network more and more. They have added another comic inspired show to their rotation, with iZombie. I enjoy the comic book these are based on being CW it is a DC/Vertigo property. The trailer looks good and it will be one for me to place on my to watch list. Check out it out through CW’s YouTube channel:
Constantine Television Series Trailer
I always enjoyed Hellblazer and I even liked the Constantine feature film enough to watch it a few times. However, this new television series looks to be the best interpretation for Constantine. They actually got an appropriate actor to play the part and the trailer looks impressive. Check it out below thanks to the “NBCConstantine” channel on YouTube:

DC Cross Platform Support for Major Three
DC Comics announced that it will have all of it DC and Vertigo titles available for all three e-reader devices. So if you have a DC fan in the house and they don’t want to deal with issues this will be a new alternative on the Kindle Bookstore, iBookstore, and Nook Bookstore.
Vertigo gets Tattooed by a Dragon
This will definitely be of interest that you will probably want your library to purchase. Starting next year Vertigo will be publishing an adaptation of Stieg Larsson’s Millennium Trilogy. Each book will be published as two volume graphic novels for a total of six graphic novels. The first novel, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, will be written by Denise Mina. Depending on how much is adapted, this collection will probably be geared for your adult section. Their are some rough parts in the novel that could warrant this shelf placement.

For your patrons that enjoy crime stories might be getting a show for them. ICv2 is reporting that Vertigo’s, 100 Bullets, by Brian Azzarello and Eduardo Risso is being produced by Warner Bros. TV as a television series for Showtime. We will see if this actually comes to pass or not. But it’s interesting water cooler talk.
