The Hollywood Reporter has reported that Olivia Wilde and Garrett Hedlund will return for a third Disney, Tron movie. Joseph Kosinski will return as the director as well. Sounds cool to me, but I’m a science fiction fan in general.

Uprising is Planned
Rex Mundi gets Legacy Writers
ICv2’s site is reporting, linked below, that Infinitum Nihil company has hired the Tron: Legacy writers to write the movie adaptation of Rex Mundi. Infinitum Nihil is Johnny Depp’s production company so hopefully this has some steam behind it now that writers have been hired. For those unfamiliar with the story, it is an alternate history story about the search for the Holy Grail in a world still ruled by the Catholic Church.
Tron Uprising
ICv2 is reporting that Disney’s XD channel will be airing Tron: Uprising in 2012. This is an animated series that takes place between the the live action Tron and Tron: Legacy. Librarians will want to let their animation fans know about this one. Just by looking at the credits at the end of the trailer it has some big names voicing the characters and probably the most exciting one is at the very end of the trailer it says Bruce Boxleitner will be voicing Tron.
