We get to see the beginning of Lara Croft, in 2018’s Tomb Raider. From what I can tell by watching Logan playing the video game it looks like an adaptation of the game. Certain scenes pretty much were used from the game. Here’s the trailer from MovieClips Trailers YouTube channel:

This weeks AMV comes from YouTuber victorwonder. The tag for the video on YouTube is “tomb raider|yeah 3x|fan-made music video”. For a change up I took a video that used live action instead of animation. The clips come from Lara Croft, Tomb Raider set to the song “yeah 3x” performed by Chris Brown.
ICv2’s site is reporting that GK Films has hired Mark Fergus and Hawk Ostby to write the script for the new Tomb Raider movie. GK Films is aiming for a 2013 release for this film. This will be of interest to gamers and patrons that like comic books.
ICv2 reports that Graham King, GK Films, has acquired the rights to the Tomb Raider film rights. The site mentions Angelina Jolie, but really she has had her turn. Time for some new blood. GK Films recent credits are The Town and Rango. If handled correctly this can be a cool franchise. Link to the article below.
