Tokyo Ghoul Live Action Trailer

If you are lucky enough the live action adaptation of Tokyo Ghoul will be in select theaters October 16-22.  If you are like us and don’t live near a large city you’ll just have to wait until it gets released on DVD/Blu-ray.  How long that wait will be I’m not sure, but at least fans in North America have FUNimation that is going to be a distributor for the film.  Here’s the trailer for Tokyo Ghoul for you through FUNimation’s YouTube channel:

Tokyo Ghoul has hit shelves from FUNimation.  This is one that you will want to check out first.  This is a mature title and some smaller libraries might not be able to pick it up.  It is one of the more popular dark shows at the moment.  Thanks to FUNimation’s YouTube channel for the trailer:

Tokyo Ghoul Manga is Here

Tokyo-Ghoul

Viz Signature imprint of Viz Media has began publishing the North American edition of Tokyo Ghoul by Sui Ishida.  This is one that is popular in Japan and that usually means it will be popular here as well.  It is a horror series and is rated for “Older Teens”, which along with being a Viz Signature imprint, lets you know it will be mature in tone and will possibly have disturbing images.  This is my slate to read so hopefully it is worth the read as everyone says it is.  We will see.
