Nozart Releases Story Driven Single “Orphanage”

Nozart is back and this time they are sharing with our listeners their single “Orphanage”.  For fans of songs that are story based, which Logan and I are,  “Orphanage” is made for you.  The opening to this single itself feels like you are opening a book and getting ready to read a story.  The simple rhythm and instruments give this single a fairy tale aspect.  The vocals come through nice and clear and add to the story quality.  It is a slower song, but the quality overcomes that.  We are choosing to show the music video for “Orphanage” from Nozart’s YouTube channel.  One because it is an animated video and we love animation here and two the animation for the music video makes it feel like you are reading a Neil Gaiman story made by Tim Burton.  Props to Noah Kellman on a finely done song and music video.  Here’s Nozart’s “Orphanage” music video – Richard:

Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children Trailer

missperegrine_334x518

Many of you have seen the trailer for Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children.  If you haven’t it is below through 20th Century Fox’ YouTube channel.  However, I want to remind everyone that you can read the series from you local library or pick it up at you favorite book store.  The series is written by Ransom Riggs and its third volume came out in 2015.  I believe the studio made a wise decision to have Tim Burton direct this movie, it looks to be one of the good ones.

A New Vampire Hunter is on the Scene

Seth Grahame-Smith splashed onto the scene with his novel Pride and Prejudice and Zombies and followed it up with Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter.  Now his second book Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter is going to transition from novel to the big screen.  The director attached to the film is Tim Burton.  Therefore, this movie will be reminiscent of Sleepy Hollow in tone and everything else this director touches.  Thanks to YahooMovies for the teaser trailer below.

Burton & Depp Together Again

ICv2 is reporting that Tim Burton has teamed up with Johnny Depp for a Dark Shadows movie.  Michelle Pfeiffer and Eva Green are also attached to the movie, which is slated for a May 2012 release.
