Release of Rachel Sage’s “Invisible Light” Video

Rachel Sage just has one of those voices that appeals to me.  I have loved her music since I first heard her.  Thanks to The MuseBox for alerting us of her most recent video for “Invisible Light” (linked below).  The video is fairly simple which suits the song.  My favorite parts of the video are the close ups of Rachel and her hands playing the piano.  Her upcoming schedule is below so go out and see her when she is in your area.

One Type of Dark Remix

Here is an interesting remix that Ginger and the Ghost did with TA-KU on “One Type of Dark”.  Ginger and the Ghost like to experiment with their music and they definitely did with this remix.  Parts of it I love and other parts I just went “interesting”.  April says she likes it all, much better than the original.  So there you have it.  Ginger and the Ghost’s schedule is below and if you are heading to SXSW check them out.

Joshua Radin “Beautiful Day” Single

JOSHUA RADIN
ANNOUNCES NEW SELF – RELEASED LP
WAX WINGS
COMING MAY 7, 2013
 “BEAUTIFUL DAY”
I just listened to “Beautiful Day” and really enjoyed it.  I enjoy the simplicity of the music.  The instruments were nice and clear, but they didn’t over power Joshua’s voice.  When the instruments overpower the artist voice I hate it.  But this was very crisp and clear.  The song itself was to me really up lifting.  If you get a chance check out Wax Wings I think it would be a nice album to pick up for your music collection.

Ep 1 of ComicPop MiniCast: Ginger and the Ghost

Hello everyone and welcome to a ComicPop MiniCast.  This recording was during Episode 30, but we had to drop it from the show due to time restraints.  Therefore, we are putting it up as a MiniCast.

In this MiniCast the ComicPop Crew received an e-mail from Caitlin Pasko, of the MuseBox.  The MuseBox has been keeping our blog appraised of indy music artists and the product they are producing.  Caitlin asked the Crew what we thought of a particular artist they represent, Ginger and the Ghost.

The ComicPop Crew gives our feedback on Ginger and the Ghost’s “One Type of Dark”.  The intro and outro for the MiniCast features another of Ginger and the Ghost’s songs “Where Wolf”.
