Lily Elise is sharing with us the music video for her single “Taken”. Lily has a very nice clear sound that comes through really well on this ballad. The background music has an interesting flow to it and at first was a little distracting, but the more I listened to the single I was taken in by Lily’s voice. If you are a fan of Dee Henderson novels you will and you haven’t already read it…her latest is Taken. Bethany House’s YouTube channel is sharing the trailer for the novel:
“Taken” is the title track from her upcoming debut EP, Taken. This single is one that when listening to the verses of the song the vocals and instrumentals clash a little and compete against each other. This is a specific style and I’ve heard other pieces that do this same thing. It took me a couple of times to really get into this song because of that clash and then I was used to it and had no trouble. Have a good chorus helped me give “Taken” multiple listenings and really tied this piece together nicely. Check it out through SoundCloud – Richard:
Lily Elise has generated an EP entitled Taken. We have the music video to her first single from Taken, “Generator”, from her YouTube channel.
She starts out with really a nice smooth ballad that she carries well with her Alto sound. Her voice is really clear in the recording and strong enough to stand out over the instruments. For a first single she has a nice sound and I am interested in what else she has for us on her EP – Richard:
