SyFy’s new experiment, Defiance. The television series won’t be able to be purchased until after the season, but the video game is available to purchase for your video game collections. Both look interesting. Thanks to “DefianceUniverse” and “machinima” on YouTube for the following trailers, first is the television series and second is the video game:

Time to Say Goodbye
ICv2 is reporting that the SyFy network has canceled season six of Eureka. This has been one of the funniest SciFi shows that I have watched. It’s sad to see that it is going. Let’s just hope that all of the story lines will be tied up since they know season five is the last season. The last part of season five will air in 2012.
New D&D Supplement
Librarians that have patrons that like role playing games will want to pass on this information. Wizards of the Coast has announced a new Dungeons & Dragons supplement, Book of Vile Darkness, to be released in conjunction with the Syfy movie of the same name, in December. The suggested price will be $29.95. Libraries that pick up gaming books and have a collection of role playing manuals will also want to have this placed on pre-order so they can get it when it comes out.
