We are just having fun reviewing and discussing comic books, graphic novels, manga, anime/animation, music and movies that we have recently read, listened to or watched.
This looks to be pretty cool, looks to be a cross between fencing and Star Wars lightsaber dueling. If we lived closer I would definitely be there! Studio Ghibli’s next release to the North American market will be Only Yesterday. The movie has that Ghibli look and looks to be more of a “slice of life” film. The main voice actors are Daisy Ridley (a Star Wars Alum) and Dev Patel. Thanks to Movieclips Trailers YouTube channel for the trailer:
Of course the Star Wars: Rogue One teaser would be released while we where down in Oklahoma. That being said I’m looking forward to this and want everyone else to enjoy it as well by sharing the teaser for Rogue One that Star Wars’ YouTube channel has made available:
Before I saw Star Wars and dived into Science Fiction/Fantasy, the movie that captivated me in my youth was Smokey and the Bandit. Trans Am Depot has made 77 new modern “Bandit” Trans Ams. This is a beauty! If I had unlimited money to blow on whatever I wanted this would be sitting in my driveway. Even Burt Reynolds came out to help with this project by signing each car. The picture above is great, but you need to check out the video that Trans Am Depot have put up on their YouTube page:
Check out this very cool Lego set that was mentioned on Yahoo’s site. Pun definitely intended since Lego set is for the Star Wars: Assault on Hoth playset, from Empire Strikes Back. This set has 2,144 pieces and will set you back $250 suggested retail price. Of course if you are a Lego fan price sometimes isn’t an obstacle. The set is has a schedule shelf date of May 1, so if price is something you have to consider, start saving now.

Jumpcuts is sharing with ComicPop Library their latest music video for “Everything We Are”, off their album Fiber Optic Bondage. The single itself is a slow techno sound with lyrics that they want you to listen to for the meaning. This isn’t one that will make you get up and dance, but one to contemplate. The music video helps with it’s imagery. It shows the founder of the band and pieces of his Kenner Vintage Star Wars toy collection. Basically, what I got out of it is for the listen to remember “Everything We Are” is by what we surround ourselves with. You can have your collections, but don’t forget about the family, friends, and people in your life that make up who you are. Its not only about the collection. You might get something else, who knows. If nothing else enjoy the vintage toys. Everyone knew it was only a matter of time. With Disney’s Infinity video game play environment they introduced Star Wars in general and Star Wars Rebels Infinity figures, but now Disney is releasing pictures of their Star Wars: The Force Awakens Infinity figures. So get ready to head back to the stores come this December.
Fantasy Flight Games was able to officially announce that it is releasing a Star Wars: X-Wing – The Force Awakens core gaming set. The slated release date is for September 16, just right around the corner. The set will include one T-70 X-Wing and two TIE/fo Fighters. This set will also be able to be used with existing expansions and rules for squad building of the Star Wars: X-Wing game. So keep an eye out in your gaming stores.
