Lil Buck was introduced to LP’s debut album Forever For Now via Sol Guy and he said it INSPIRED him. All he wanted to do was dance to it. The two began discussing different artists and their particular roots of inspiration. Bruce Lee was another one of those for Lil Buck. They combined Bruce’s philosophy, LP’s haunting track and Lil Buck’s jaw dropping, bone breaking dancing into a mind-blowing celebration.
Lil Buck to the title track “Forever For Now” and put dance to it, what he calls Memphis Jookin. Lil Buck gives some narrative to his dance and then it goes into the lyrics. The video is shot in black and white which makes it a little haunting. You can definitely tell that his influence is from Bruce Lee. The video was done for a new upcoming show called The Talent Show, created by Sol Guy that travels to find arts that inspires individual.
