We are just having fun reviewing and discussing comic books, graphic novels, manga, anime/animation, music and movies that we have recently read, listened to or watched.
It’s been a while since we spotlighted one of our favorite J-Pop/Rock groups Sekai no Owari! This time we feature their music video for “Anti-Hero”. “Anti-Hero” has a great sound and the music video is another treat for the eyes from Sekai no Owari. The theme fits ComicPop Library with comic books and manga having several titles that feature anti-heroes. It’s been a while and we said we would continue to spotlight Sekai no Owari because we enjoyed them so much. So for their spotlight this time we are featuring the singles “S.O.S.” that was the theme for the movie Attack on Titan End of the World. The music video to “S.O.S.” is filled with vivid imagery and will appeal to many as an “art” video, because of its style. The ComicPop Crew enjoyed Sekai no Owari so much that we are going to occasionally spotlight their music video and want to encourage our listeners to support them. We already spotlighted “Mr. Heartache” and did a podcast for their four English songs so we are going to finish spotlighting their English songs and then go into their other singles. The ComicPop Crew take a trip to “Tokyo Fantasy” to discover the multi-talented band Sekai No Owari (End of the World). Join the Crew as they share their experience of the band’s first forays into the world arena. We sample four of their songs and discuss the music videos that are companions to them.

For all you J-Pop fans Sekai No Owari will resonate with you immediately. For people that are new to the genre, the music video will be a little out there, but you have to remember this style likes to have fun with their music. Sekai No Owari is sharing with the ComicPop Library listeners their latest single “Mr. Heartache”.
