Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA X HD Promo Video

Sega’s YouTube channel is streaming a promotional video for the Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA X HD game.  The video features two new songs that the game will have: “Sharing the World’ by BIGHEAD and “Hand In Hand” by Livetune.  The game is slated for an August 20 release date for the U.S. and will be available for the PS4 and PlayStation Vita.

Valkyrai: Azure Revolution Teaser

Sega has begun streaming the teaser for Valkyria: Azure Revolution on its YouTube channel.  This role-playing video game teaser is for the PlayStation 4 and isn’t scheduled until a Winter 2016 release.  Sega is hoping this teaser will hold you over until a full trailer is released and then finally the game next year.  Will it work?  At least we have a long enough lead in time to save money for the game.

Sega streams Hatsune’s “Decorator”

Sega is streaming the theme song video “Decorator”, by livetune, to it’s Hatsune Miku-Project DIVA-F 2nd, on it’s YouTube channel for the game.  “Decorator” will be released as a single on March 5.  Sega also stated that the game for PlayStation Vita and PlayStation 3 has been delayed from it’s March 6, release to a March 27 release.  Enjoy the music video below.

Get Ready for a Sonic Boom

Sega has released information that next Autumn Cartoon Network will debut Sonic BoomSonic the Hedgehog has had an animated series before, but this time it will be a CG animated series.  So all you Sonic fans, I know it’s early, but mark your 2014 calendars.

Theme for Sakura Taisen Streamed

Sega has released, through it’s YouTube channel, a animated music video for the theme of it’s Sakura Taisen: Kanadegumi (Sakura Wars: Performing Division) dating simulation game.  The theme is entitled “Enbukyoku, Kimi ni” (“A Waltz, For You”).  Thanks for AnimeNews Network for the heads up on the video, check it out below:

Official “Weekender Girl” Video Released

Toy’s Factory has released Hatsune Miku’s music video to “Weekender Girl”.  Hatsune being a vocaloid means that several people helped with this creation.  Producers kz and Hachioji-P created the song and vocaloid producer Wakamura-P, helped create the video with the Project Diva staff and TNKS created the “Pansy” costume that Hatsune Miku wears in the video.  The song and video are a tie-in to Sega’s Hatsune Miku – Project Diva – F game.  Thanks to AnimeNews Network, Toy’s Factory and YouTube for the following video:

New Sonic Video Game Trailer

For libraries with gaming collections this is one you will want to put on your radar, Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed.  SegaAmerica started streaming the following trailer on their YouTube channel.  The video game will be available on multi platfroms: Xbox 360; PlayStation 3; PlayStation Vita; and Nintendo 3DS.  It’s release date is November 16, for Europe, and November 20 for the North American markets.  Check out the trailer below:

More Fun with the Miku Character

Sega has streamed two different items for the Hatsune Miku character.  The first is a music video commercial for the upcoming Miku-Project DIVA-f.  The commercial features, voice actress, Saki Fujita and 150 other individuals dancing to Htsune Miku’s “Weekender Girl”.  The second item is a commercial for the Miku Flick/02, which is available for the iPhone in Apple’s App Store for $10.99.  Thanks to AnimeNews Network, Sega and YouTube for the following videos:

Hatsune Miku Song Released by Sega

Here is one for you J-Poppers.  The Weekly Diva Station, the official Sega blog for the Hatsune Miku – Project Diva has released “Summer Idol” by Oster Project from the new Hatsune Miku – Project Diva – f game.  The company did this in conjunction with Japan’s Marine Day today.  Thanks to Sega for posting this for everyone.  It’s a great upbeat summer song that has a catchy tune.

Phantasy Star Online 2 Trailer

Phantasy Star Online 2 will be one game that you will want to tell your library patrons about.  It is a Free-To-Play multiplayer role playing game, that Sega has announced will be opening a server in the west to allow game play (actual opening date has yet to be determined).  This news you will want to let your gamer know about so they can play at their homes, but also to your gaming patrons that don’t have a computer at home you can inform them that they can play on the library’s computers to spotlight your computer labs.  Thanks to AnimeNews Network for the following trailer:
