Doran Danoff is sharing with the ComicPop listeners his single “Young Love”. This has a great bluesy/rock feel to it that the listener can get into easily. Cease Tone is sharing with the ComicPop gang their latest single “Sight of Your Life”. The song starts out like a nice simple folk song and then the bridge into the second verse swells and continues swelling though the rest of the single. Cease Tone will be at SXSW so if you are one of the fortunate that gets to attend you might check out their session. They will also be at a few other venues before SXSW and after. Take a look at the music video that Diaz Grimm is sharing with us. The single is entitled “Quarterbacks” and features Lukan Raisey and Spycc. All of our fans that enjoy Rap will like this single. The lyrics do get a little muddy at times, but over all I liked the single. Diaz is taking the long trip from New Zealand to be at SXSW so take in his session if you are going to be there. Tommy KD is sharing his single “Homeless” with ComicPop Library. The single was done to help bring awareness to the homeless in our world. It has a strong message to it and at the same time has a nice rhythm and Tommy’s voice is really clear for the listener. Friday is sharing with the ComicPop listeners his single “Cold” from his upcoming album Nocturnal. Friday, otherwise known as Ricky Dred, uses a fast rhythm in “Cold” . The rhythm is a little repetitive, but it is saved by being catchy and his ability to Rap really well at a fast pace. Some performers will lose the clearness of their voice when rapping fast, however Friday is at ease with the faster rhythm. If you enjoy the Rap Genre you will enjoy this ode by Leondro, “Girl You The Ish”. It’s not an in your face single, but a more introspective one. Their is language within the song that some might object to, so this is your warning. “Girl You the Ish” has a slower pace that conveys what he is feeling well and when looked in the context of his art form it is done really well and I think most will enjoy it.
