We are just having fun reviewing and discussing comic books, graphic novels, manga, anime/animation, music and movies that we have recently read, listened to or watched.
Harris Hawk gives everyone a nice hard rock single with “Farpoint”. This is one that hard rock fans will enjoy. There is a short bridge where the song softens a little, but it is primarily in your face with electric guitar the featured piece in the driving beat. One band that resonates with Phoenix Ash is Siam Shade. Siam Shade just recently release the song “Still We Go”. The first thing the Phoenix Ash members wanted to do was make a tribute cover to the song. This is mentioned in the Visit we had with the band and you will be able to hear that Visit tomorrow morning when it is uploaded. But today I want you to enjoy Phoenix Ash’s tribute to Siam Shade. Be ready because, if you haven’t heard them before, Phoenix Ash will knock you socks off. They have a great rock sound and they are ready to rise back up into the industry. Rock Paper Scissors Lizard Spock is a side-splitting video that parodies the shows favourite characters settling their dispute in true Big Bang style– with a game of Rock, Paper, Scissors, Lizard Spock
Sam Kass himself, the inventor of the cult game and the man who has been hailed on the show by Sheldon, Leonard, Raj and Howard, gave Geoffrey his full seal of approval on hearing the track.
The track is taken from Geoffrey’s forthcoming aptly titled Geoffrey the Giant’s Big Bang. Geoffrey is a singer-songwriter from Ottawa Canada who aside from being a very funny man is also incredibly talented singer and has as already dueted with Carly Rae Jepsen on Canadian Idol and song-writing legend Ron Sexsmith.
Of course everyone is familiar with the Big Bang Theory. Geoffrey has a clear voice and the song has a catchy tune that once listened to you won’t be able to get the chorus out of you head. Not really sure if more of Geoffrey the Giant’s songs will be parodies or if this is just something he wanted to do, time will tell.
