Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice Trailer

batman_v__superman__dawn_of_justice_poster_3_by_jonesyd1129-d8s0mww

Growing up my parents always picked up the DC Comics for me.  So I’m more of a DC guy instead of a Marvel guy even though I love Marvel as well.  But man I love see the small screen and big screen coming to life with what to me are my heroes.  So you knew I couldn’t let the weekend come without posting the trailer to the new Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice trailer that debuted at ComicCon.  All I can say is it looks good.  Seems to pick up within the Man of Steel battle, with Bruce Wayne present in Metropolis at the time.  So that was a nice tie-in.  Plus Batman has always been about protecting the people even to include other heroes that might turn.  Check out Justice League: Tower of Babel for this concept.  Thanks to Warner Bros. for streaming this on the YouTube channel for us to share with everyone – Richard:

Attic Empire Wants to Send You on a “Astro Getaway”

atticattic1

Love the horns!  Attic Empire’s single “Astro Getaway” gives a vibe of the late 1970’s early 1980’s, which falls right in my wheel house.  The music industry has gotten away from using the myriad of instruments that can be used to augment or even make a song.  It’s great to see with Attic Empire that they aren’t shying away form all the musical possibilities.  This might be more of a niche area today, but people like me enjoy the sound.  Love it…keep it up!  Take a listen to “Astro Getaway” through SoundCloud – Richard:

Rozes Releases “R U Mine” Single

blackpandaPRrozes

Rozes hits the ground running with her single “R U Mine”.  The single starts out going slow and you are like okay a ballad, which is fine because she has a nice clear voice for this.  Then Rozes dives in by ramping up the rhythm and making the song a fun listen.  So check out Rozes’ “R U Mine” through SoundCloud – Richard

You “Can’t Say No” to Rebel House Radio’s Release

cyberpr1rebel

Rebel House Radio has a soft spoken sound.  Not knowing what they have done with other singles, I know with their latest “Can’t Say No” the band is aware of this trait.  The beat has a great steady driving sound with the other instruments being more of a supportive role.  However, they don’t let this over power the lyrics.  Rebel House Radio has adjusted their sound level to compliment their voices rather than take over the song.  The music video also compliments the single as well.  So check out the single “Can’t Say No” from Rebel House Radio’s YouTube channel – Richard:

Beca Latest Music Video “Bayonet”

museBeca

“Bayonet” is an Electronic Dance single, from Beca, that gives listeners that dance club feel.  It’s one that brings thoughts of when you are out on the town enjoying friends and dancing the night away.  Check it out through Beca’s YouTube channel – Richard:

Lady Baby Streams First Music Video “Nippon Manju”

ladybaby1ladybaby

This one is just to good to pass up.  This just hit me on all cylinders for some reason.  I’m not a big screamo fan, but I do like some, but I think it’s the band itself having fun that translates into the music and music video.  Welcome Lady Baby to the masses.  Lady Baby is an Idol band that recently formed and has just released their first music video for their single “Nippon Manju” single.  The band consists of Rie Kaneko and Rei Kuromiya, that were Miss iD finalists, and the crossplaing heavy metal screamist Lady Beard.  Check out their music video for “Nippon Manju” and the single will be available on July 29 to purchase – Richard:

Foam Ropes Releases “Potion me Well” Single

cyberpr1foamropes

Derek Nicoletto and his band Foam Ropes’ recent single “Potion me Well” has a Southern Rock feel to it.  So when one listens to it you get that back home country rock feel which has a strong beat to it.  The music video that the band did for the single kind of goes in a very different direction though.  It has apartment and dance studio scenes to it which felt a little disconnected to the style of the music.  This is one that should have been filmed on a farm or range and it would have meshed with the single better.  To me the Southern Rock fans will love “Potion me Well”, so download the song and jam out to it.  You can check out the music video here from the bands YouTube channel – Richard:

Island Ap0llo shares Two of Their Latest, “Miracle” and “Lion Eyes”

islandisland1

Island Ap0llo has been kind enough to share two of their singles with us.  The first is “Miracle” which I like the beat to that gets your head and body to moving.  The bridge takes you in a different direction that changes the tone of the single and then comes back to a lighter tone for the last verse and then into a dark tone again to close out the single.  I can appreciate them experimenting like this, but some listeners might get lost.  Know “Lions Eyes” is one that everyone that knows me I like even better.  When the song is upbeat and catchy you have me hooked and I’ve already listened to it multiple times.  Take a listen to both songs through SoundCloud and thanks again to Island Ap0llo and Kershona Mayo for sharing – Richard:
