In Sweet Bronco’s single “Crush, Crush” we get a call back to the 1960’s psychedelic age. Fans of this music will enjoy their sound and fans that lived in that time will probably recall some memories. When Sweet Bronco started the vocals, and this is especially with the chorus, I instantly had a call back to something that The Doors would do. British India is sharing with us their music video of their single “I Can Make You Love Me”. British India I would place in the Folk/Rock genre. Think of Tom Petty and others like that and you have British India’s sound. The video itself kind of reminds me of a play on Beauty and the Beast that went wrong, but that’s just me. ALEKO is sharing with us his single “Hold on Me” from his EP Amity. The single is through his YouTube channel, but the video is just the audio for his single not a music video, thought I’d just warn you. ALEKO has a nice clean sound with his single “Hold on Me”. It’s not one to make you jump up and dance in the street, this single is more of a laid back feel to it. One were you just groove with the music and sing along with ALEKO…you know you do it, so go ahead and do it with ALKEO’s “Hold on Me” – Richard:
For those that love big band music you will enjoy Gregorio Uribe. Gregorio brings back all the big band elements and he is sharing with us the single “Caribe Contigo” video from his YouTube channel. It is longer than usual because the song is performed and then a behind the scenes portion of the video begins. I’m used to the 1970’s and the closest thing we had to big band was probably Barry Manilow, so that is who first pop into my head when I listened to “Caribe Contigo”, because he used to have the variety of instruments in his singles. Gergorio Uribe’s album Cumbia Universal is out now digitally so you can find it on most digital downloaders. Australian songstress Dioni is sharing with us her latest music lyric video, for her single “Time for Change”. Dioni still has that soulful voice that we are accustom to. Olivver the Kid is sharing with us his latest single “World on Fire”, from his The Boy Who Cried Wolf EP. When this single begins one is going to think what is going on, but don’t stop. Keep going and you will experience a song that you won’t forget. “World on Fire:” has an infectious beat that gets the body going. The single kind of has an other worldly feel to it because of what they are doing instrumentally with the music, which seems appropriate for an EP entitle The Boy Who Cried Wolf. Charming Disaster is a duo that has a dark sound to them. They are sharing with us their single “Ghost Story”, from their album Love, Crime & Other Trouble. The literature even describes them as a macabre musical duo. So with Charming Disaster releasing their album right around October (Halloween) fits nicely with them. Mary Jennings is sharing with us her latest single “Home” from her album Metamorphosis. Mary jumps right in with from the very beginning with this single. The single has a quality that is soothing to the ear and almost transcendent sounding. I’m not sure how to describe “Home”.
