Even though the song has serious overtones it is performed and sung in an upbeat style that makes the song fun and meant to be uplifting. Z is sharing with ComicPop Library listeners his single, “The Magic”, from his upcoming For The Mad Ones EP. Right away the single gives the listener a catchy rhythm to get into. With the electronic infused song I can see this single being on a playlist in a dance club. You think you have “The Magic” figured out and then it goes into a rap in the middle and then the ending is a soft clean instrumental to bring you down from the upbeat rhythm you had through the single.
