JOME’s Premiere Single “Brushstroke”

JOME is sharing with the ComicPop listeners the premiere of “Brushstroke”. The drums that the piece utilizes give the single a little bit of a tribal feel, which I enjoy. When the chorus hits it brings up the songs tempo and gives a nice contrasting element between the verse and chorus. To me this is an anthem song for people that don’t want to be forgotten and to change that precept and not be forgotten is to change the color you paint your would with or even the “Brushstroke”. Raphael Di Raddo wants to introduce You to “Future Hits”

Raphael Di Raddo is giving everyone a glimpse in some up and coming artists in his compilation album Future Hits, Vol. 1. Raphael has already shared with ComicPop two of the artists on this album with our listeners: Ryan Stevenson and Young Avz. Lenny, Jonathon, and Richard have a fun time with Susanne Lambdin, author of the Supernatural/Adventure/Thriller series Dead Hearts. We talk about how Susanne developed the series and what’s to come with some colorful language along the way, So she fit in perfectly with us! Susanne was great and we had a blast visiting with her. Batman v Superman is Here!

I don’t care what other people have to say I’m still excited to see Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice this weekend and will more than likely enjoy it. Is it because I’m a child of DC…probably. You can’t compare DC to Marvel in my eyes. They are completely different philosophies and I enjoy both because of these differences. Marvel is about the every day man or woman receiving powers and how they handle them. DC is about the mythology and their characters have always been about the characters having god like powers. And the main reason to enjoy this movie is that it is just a movie to take you away from the real world for a few hours. When you go in to watch any comic book based movie or any movie for that matter go in to the theater ready to relax and enjoy the story and effects. Yes you can point out flaws every story and person has them, but you don’t have to tear it or them down. Melina Diehl wants You!, “Seriously”

Melina Diehl is sharing her debut single, “Seriously’, with the ComicPop listeners. This single is at it’s best because of it’s simplistic form. Not every artist can sing a song in this manner, because the singer becomes the focal point not the instruments. There is limited instruments and/or mixing to the sound, so to me it comes across as more pure. Very nicely done and Melina should be highly complimented for this. This is a comforting single about a person wanting to share their love with their significant other and wanting to take that first step towards a lasting relationship.
