Jetty Rae Latest Single “Queen of the Universe”

Jetty Rae is sharing with the ComicPop listeners her latest single “Queen of the Universe”.  Jetty Rae has equal parts soul/country/and rock.  This single is right in that slot that it can be enjoyed on any of these types of radio stations.  One would think that with the title “Queen of the Universe” that this would be a hard sell to listeners, but once you start listening to the single you will be captured by Jetty’s voice and the singles haunting tones.  Here’s Jetty Rae’s “Queen of the Universe” through SoundCloud – Richard:

Frenchy B’s Lyric Video for “Rolling”

Frenchy B is sharing with our listeners his latest single “Rolling” lyric video.  This single is from his EP En Route.  The lyric video is pretty simple with a black back ground and the lyric flashing onto the screen.  “Rolling” has a club rap feel to it that has a feel like something Will.I.Am  would put out.  This might catch some of our listeners off guard, but as everyone knows we here at ComicPop enjoy listen to music from around the world and this artist comes to us from way of France.  Here’s Frenchy B’s lyric video through his YouTube channel – Richard:

Aish’s Debut Single “Promise Me” Music Video

Aish is sharing with our listeners his debut single and music video “Promise Me”.  This single lands, for me, within the experimental music.  This includes the music video as well.  It is a unique animated video that uses psychedelic colors within the landscapes and figures.  I love the violin in this piece and could listen to it just by itself.  For a new treat check out Aish’s music video for his single “Promise Me” through his YouTube channel – Richard:

Monogold’s Music Video for “Lovebug”

Monogold is sharing with the ComicPop listeners the music video for their single “Lovebug”.  The video has a throwback feel for those home videos that several families made.  This is one past time my family didn’t partake in we didn’t even do much in the way of pictures.  With this single Monogold blends their higher pitched voices in with the instrumentals.  Their EP Yolk was released this past December so for a quick peek at Monogold’s sound check out the music video for their single “Lovebug” through their YouTube channel – Richard

Nilu’s Latest Single “What I’m Looking For”

Nilu is sharing with ComicPop again and this time it is with her single “What I’m Looking For”.  This time around Nilu gives the listener a bluesy experience with a little bit of skatting thrown in.  This is one that I can easily see performed in a blues club for all to enjoy.  So take a moment for Nilu’s “What I’m Looking For” through SoundCloud – Richard:

Mungbean’s Single “Am Your Eyes”

Mungbean is sharing with our listeners their single “Am Your Eyes”.  This single has an ethereal electronica sound to it.  The vocals are blended in with the instrumentals that bring out the ethereal feel that I get.  The duo are working on a planned EP for 2017 until then you can check out Mungbean’s sound with “Am Your Eyes” through SoundCloud – Richard:

BREATHERR’s Experimental Single “Chantrieri” Music Video

Those of our listeners that like to experiment with their music entertainment will get into BREATHERR’s single “Chantrieri”.  With “Chantrieri” everything about it makes for a tense listen.  The instrumentals and vocals don’t have much of any type of break and just keep driving forward through the single.  I’m fairly positive this is intentional with the music video’s scenes moving through at what feels like a frantic pace with the percussion driving it forward.  Check out BREATHERRR’s music video “Chantrieri”, through his YouTube channel, to do some experimentation with what you listen to, you just might find you like it – Richard:

RAYNE’s Single “Subject A”

RAYNE is sharing with our listeners their single “Subject A”.  This single brings back memories of the late 1980’s, early 1990’s with bands like Europe.  “Subject A” has a strong electronic beat with a SciFi slant.  Especially when you listen to the lyrics.  For us here at ComicPop it fits in perfectly with our love of Science Fiction.  Our listeners that love electronic and the steampunk wave will definitely dig this single.  I can’t wait to hear more from RAYNE to see if they continue down this road for subject matter or if it is just a one off.  Even if it is a one off in way of subject matter if they continue with the same electronic sound I believe many will be lining up to follow them.  Here’s RAYNE’s “Subject A” through SoundCloud – Richard:
