Orla Gartland Gives Us “Lonely People”

museorla

Orla Gartland is in country and will be touring through the month of March.  We get to watch and listen to her single “Lonely People”, which has a great Pop sound.  The single has a nice upbeat tempo and her voice fits the Pop genre very well.  It blends with the instrumentals, but isn’t overpowered by them.  This can be tricky for an artist, but Orla handles it well with “Lonely People”.  If you want to check her music out you can go to the following places to hear her live.  And be sure to check out the music video for “Lonely People” through her YouTube channel – Richard:

MIRK Decides to “Let it Go”

musemirk

MIRK releases their fourth single from their upcoming album Run, “Let it Go”.  This is definitely not Disney’s “Let it Go”, so don’t be fooled.  This single features a strong soulful female solo and then goes into MIRK’s upbeat feel.  Take a listen through SoundCloud – Richard:

Jukebox the Ghost Remix of Little Daylight’s “Postcard”

blackpandaPRlittle daylight 1

Jukebox the Ghost gives us Little Daylight’s “Postcard” as a remix.  LIttle Daylight has a great easy listening synth sound that I enjoy.  This harkens back to the late 1980’s, early 1990’s in style.  “Postcard” reminds me a little of Ace of Base.  Check out the single through SoundCloud and if you are in the area of any of their performances stop in for a fun evening – Richard

El Conjunto Nueva Ola’s Music Video of “El Jom Dipo”

museconjunto

I love the Lucha Libre masks!  El Conjunto Nueva Ola seems to be a band that is a bunch of guys just wanting to have fun and it comes across in their single “El Jom Dipo”.  At times I think fun music gets a bad rap.  We need to have the fun stuff as well as other types of music.  Their rhythm of “El Jom Dipo” is infectious and will make your body move whether you want it to our not.  Great fun and I hope the band will keep the fun flowing.  Check out “El Jom Dipo’s” music video through thier YouTube channel – Richard

Vuurwerk’s “Wakening” Music Video

musevuurwerk

Vuurwerk comes to us by way of Brussels.  The band is an electronic trio and is making their way out into this wonderful world of music.  The specific music video single we have of theirs is “Wakening” which has a very atmospheric quality to it.  This will appeal to some, but not all.  For me it would depend on the mood I’m in for this one.  Check it out through the “Run Tell Secrecy” YouTube channel – Richard:

Antix’s Music Video for “Come Home”

museannex

Antix gives us the softer side of Rap.  I really enjoyed this single and music video of “Come Home”.  The single had a good beat and the vocals are nice and crisp.  The video is the style I like were you get a little bit of a short film interspersed with Antix sprinkled in.  It seemed heart felt dealing with struggles that some families go through.  Check it out through his YouTube channel – Richard:

Live Hart Brings a Smooth Sound

cyberpr1live hart

Live Hart is a young woman that sounds confident in her singing.  She has a smooth Jazz/Soul sound.  Listening to the samples I’ve listen to so far is that she doesn’t strain her voice to hit notes that are out of her range.  She knows her voice and works it beautifully.  Check out her song “Please Don’t Say It’s Over” from her YouTube channel.  Live Hart won’t disappoint – Richard

Take a “Meeting” with the Road Man

cyberpr1roadman1

Road Man got me from the first drum beat and then the guitar comes in…yes, yes, yes!  His current single is “The Meeting” and it sounds great.  It has a clean simple beat and his voice is clear and hits all the right notes.  He has a little bit of country and rhythm and blues mixed together and I love the sound.  He has provided us his music video for “The Meeting” through his YouTube channel so be sure to check it out – Richard

Scotland’s Hector Bizerk

musehector

Scotland and Hip Hop, not something you would say usually in the same statement.  But here it is with Hector Bizerk.  Hector Bizerk is a band formed by Audrey Tait, drummer and producer, and Louie, who was the Scottish battle rap champ.  We have the music video from the bands YouTube channel.  This is one that will appeal to a certain market, but give it a listen, I’m always surprised at some of the music that I enjoy.  It has a great beat and Louie is in form with his sound, check out their “Skin and Bone” music video from their YouTube channel – Richard

Claus Zinger’s “If You Only Knew”

blackpandaPRclaus

Claus Zinger is an interesting artist.  He states that he is not the best musician.  I think finding yourself as a musician is part of the battle and then you move forward.  So he has begun this battle with the single “If You Only Knew” from his self-released album.  Claus has some great moments and then some interesting moments.  I will have to listen to more of his work to make a definite call, but I can say he is a musician.  I love some of the instrumentation that he has just figure out what he wants to do with his vocals will be key.  Give him a listen through the Surviving the Golden Age link here and see what you think about “If You Only Knew” http://survivingthegoldenage.com/claus-zinger-if-you-only-knew/ : Richard
