“Give or Take” Music Video from Coffeehouse

musecoffehouse1

Coffeehouse has released the music video to their single “Give or Take”.  The song comes from their debut album Square One.  When you listen to it, “Give or Take” is a nice ballad song that’s not to slow or to fast, it hits just right.  With the lyrics it is a little bit of a submission song to your loved one.  However, the band or director of the music video went a different route.  They take the viewer on a paranormal journey.  Fans of this genre will definitely enjoy the video, but with the lyrics the song can take on a different feel that the main characters are submitting to a deity.  Coffeehouse is putting themselves on the radar, so far what I have heard from them I have enjoyed.  Thank you to the band for sharing their music video via their YouTube channel – Richard:

Dillz’ “Been Down” Music Video

musekosha2

Kosha Dillz and the MuseBox are sharing his music video for the single “Been Down”, through Dillz’ YouTube channel.  With “Been Down” Dillz has the rhythm, beat, and sound down for his chosen genre.  The music video has a bright quality to it, which you don’t usually associate with the Rap genre, but it works.  Music is about the artists feelings and experiences and sharing them in the style that they enjoy and this is Dillz’ style.  This particular single has a more upbeat rap song, so the beat is really catchy.  Most will enjoy the up tempo of the single so check out “Been Down” below – Richard:

VYD Debuts “Rockets”

blackpandaPRvyd

VYD wants us to fly away to the moon on a magic rocket ride.  As they say in their debut single “Rockets”.  This single has a nice upbeat feeling with some sensuality mixed in for your pleasure.  You can listen to the single over at Surviving the Golden Age’s website here: http://survivingthegoldenage.com/vyd-rockets/Check it out I think you might like it – Richard

The Singularity Wants us to Get “Wetter”

magnum prwetter

All you children of the ’80’s, The Singularity is the band for you.  Magnum PR gives us our first posting from their company and it’s a winner for me.  Magnum PR and Katie Trimble are sharing The Singularity’s music video “Wetter” through the “A Jude” YouTube channel.  The “Wetter” single is a flashback to the 1980’s with an electronic sound.  If the rest of their EP, Weta, is anything like this single you will want to check out their music.  The music video is a mixture of animation and anime/live action overlays.  Again for me I love it because I enjoy animation.  The video also has a little bit of a call back to the Rick Astley music video for ‘Never Gonna Give You Up”, dancing with a wall as the background.  Check it out and have some fun my ’80’s fans – Richard:

Tru Fam releases “Janet Jean”

blackpandaPRtrufam

“Janet Jean” comes to us from Tru Fam.  The music to this single has a great beat, the urban hip hop style with a middle eastern flare to it.  Not sure if that is just for this individual single or if this style is in all of their music, but I enjoyed it…something a little bit different.  Sorry about this next bit guys.  I’m not a fan of auto-tune.  An artists voice can stand on its own no matter who’s it is.  You gentlemen have good voices let the spot light be on them.  That is just me, others will like it and enjoy the style.  Check out “Janet Jean” through SoundCloud – Richard

“Stay Gold” by of Verona

blackpandaPRverona

Mandi Perkins and Dillon Pace, make up the band of Verona, and they have currently released the single “Stay Gold”.  Their music is Synth influenced, but with a heavy beat in this single.  It feels like it will be a power ballad but it never hits that hard chorus that you expect after the buildup.  Instead they pulled back and kept the lyrics softer.  It’s an interesting mixture and worked well for them.  Check out “Stay Gold” through SoundCloud – Richard:

The Score is “Catching Fire” with Their Latest

musescore1

Ever have one of those groups you just like.  That’s is happening with me with The Score.  They have released their second single “Catching Fire” and I still love their style.  You have to check them out, I believe the vast majority will like them and want to download their songs.  Anyway enough rambling listen to The Score’s “Catching Fire” through SoundCloud – Richard

“This Moment” is Given to us by Janine and the Mixtape

blackpandaPRjanine1

“This Moment (Eckhart Tolle)” is the latest release from Janine and the Mixtape.  Janine’s voice just captures me from the start.  The transition from the verse to the chorus hit just right to give “This Moment” an extra push with the down beat.  The music video is also enjoyable to watch…great job all around.  Check out “This Moment (Eckhart Tolle)” on their YouTube channel – Richard:

Scarlette Releases “Helena” Single

musescarlett4

Hope everyone that got to go to SXSW had a great time.  If you are like me you want to attend, but things happen in life.  Anyway Scarlette has been busy and with all of her touring she has also released her second single, “Helena”, from her upcoming EPK Attack of the 6ft Woman.  In “Helena” Scarlette slows in down, but still retains a catchy rhythm and edge.  Check it out through SoundCloud, like her other singles I think you will enjoy it – Richard
