City Bird has given ComicPop what I consider a cool/fun song. “That Girl is Wrong for You” is Craig Greenberg’s single from his album The Grand Loss & Legacy. It starts with a nice opening beat that builds up and then drops into the Randy Newmanesque voice and sound of Greenberg. I for one love it! Check it out through SoundCloud – Richard:

“Don’t Let Me Down” Single by Dioni
MIRK’s “Marathon”
The Leeway Gives a Stirring Single with “If Only”
Wow, you don’t hear songs like this to often anymore. The Leeway gives us “If Only” that has that piano lounge feel to it. My thoughts went immediately to artists like Billy Joel and Barry Manilow. Don’t know if this is The Leeway’s sound or if this was a one off for a change of pace, but it is really nice. Check out their music video for “If Only” through the band’s YouTube channel. Great job gentlemen – Richard:

El Conjunto Nueva Ola’s “Dancing With Myself”
El Conjunto Nueva Ola (ECNO) is one of those bands that will just grab you with their infectious fun loving attitude. We will be doing a podcast will more of their music later, but until then you can enjoy their cover of Billy Idol’s “Dancing with Myself”. These guys just like to have fun and you can tell it in the way the sing. Fun Band! Take a listen to their “Dancing with Myself” through SoundCloud – Richard:
Claus Zinger’s Music Video for “No One I Know”
BlackPanda PR and Aili Watanabe send us the next outing for Claus Zinger. This time it is his music video for his single “No One I Know”. This single I would squarely place in the experimental genre. This is one you will have to listen to and judge for yourself if you enjoy it or not and that is the whole thing with experimental music. Thanks to Aili and Claus who provides us with the music video through his YouTube channel – Richard:
Taped3ck releases “Hey L.A.” Music Video
Taped3ck’s “Hey L.A. (Los Angeles)” has a touch of angry rock to it and the music video has some elements of Purge, with the face masks happening. The song itself has a good rhythm to it and is catchy. It isn’t angry enough to drive listeners away from the song. And if nothing else you got to love the hair! Go “hawk”! Here “Hey L.A. (Los Angeles)” through the bands YouTube channel – Richard:
“Lemonade City” Freshly Squeezed by Meresha
Thanks to Brooke of CyberPR for sending us another artist to look at. This time it is Meresha with her EP New Revolution. We get to hear “Lemonade City”. Meresha has a lower sultry voice that places her sound within the R&B genre. However, in “Lemonade City’ you can hear elements of the Pop genre as well. Take a listen to Meresha through the YouTube channel “Various Artists” and see what you think of “Lemonade City” – Richard
