Been a Busy Time With Life

Just wanted to drop a line for everyone and let them know that we are still here.  My personal life took a turn on the wild side for the last few months.  Posts and episodes have been few and far in between.

The recording studio we recorded in has close it’s doors so we are in the process of finding another location or creating a studio on our own.  Because of this almost every spare time between when we found out until we couldn’t record anymore has been spent stock piling podcasts so we can still put out episodes during our search time.

I have also recently changed jobs which has caused even more busy times within my life and getting used to driving for an hour to get to work again.

I will try to make the post more frequent and will begin editing more episodes to get content back on the site.  I appreciate all the patience you have given ComicPop during this transition.

Vess is a new artist on the scene for everyone to experience.  He is sharing with our listeners take a listen to his debut single “Never Leave You Alone” from his forthcoming album Shadows.  Vess uses sounds that are reminiscent of the late ’80’s early ’90’s with his use of electronic media and the way his voice comes through the single.  This gives the single a very atmospheric feel.  The tempo also lends to this haunting sound.  Here’s Vess’ “Never Leave You Alone” through SoundCloud for everyone to enjoy – Richard:

Sarah Sharp’s Music Video for “Just Go”

Sarah Sharp is sharing with our listeners her music video for the single “Just Go”.  With this single Sarah takes the listener back to old school in a classic blues tune.  With just her voice and an acoustical backing Sarah delivers a great sound.  The video that goes with the single is very elegant just like the single.  Here’s Sarah Sharp’s music video for “Just Go” through her YouTube channel:

The DTEASE’s Music Video for “Slapshot”

Get your day going with the energy of The DTEASE.  In their single “Slapshot” this group has pure energy that you associate with your Rock/Alt Rock bands.  The single gets your blood to pumping from the start and doesn’t let you go until the single is over.  The music video itself is a performance type video, but with the intensity of the music the director translated that into the imagery of the music video.  The band’s album Shake is available now and they wanted to give our listeners a taste of their sound.  Here’s The DTEASE with their music video for “Slapshot” through their YouTube channel – Richard:

Austin Ward’s Single “Bubblegum”

Austin Ward is sharing with our listeners his new single “Bubblegum”.  Currently Austin is working on an EP to be released later this year, but he wanted everyone to check out his sound.  With “Bubblegum” one would think this is going to be bubblegum pop music, but it isn’t.  Austin takes the listener on a slow melodic journey.  As they say at the dance hall’s, “this is one for the slower dancers” so get your partner and sway to the music as you listen to Austin Ward’s “Bubblegum” through SoundCloud – Richard:
