We are just having fun reviewing and discussing comic books, graphic novels, manga, anime/animation, music and movies that we have recently read, listened to or watched.
SixTwoSeven is letting the ComicPop listeners experience their Rock/Grunge single “Wreckless Soul”. This single has a good rock feel to it and the vocals, which are sometimes lost in rock songs, are nice a clear. This makes for a greater experience with the song. Brezy gives the ComicPop Library listeners a Summer tune to listen to with her single “Riptide”. Even thought this single has a serious message it is fun to listen to with its heavy bass beat and easy to listen to vocals. Alice Underground is fast becoming one of my favs. First it was their single and music video “Superman”. Now check out this video they did with “Tank!” the theme from Cowboy Bebop. one of my favorite anime and it fits Alice Underground’s style perfectly. Just pure fun! The video is great and emulates the opening sequence to Cowboy Bebop perfectly. If you are going to go to Anime Expo this weekend be sure to go to Alice Underground’s concert and support them. Funeral Suits’ shared their single “The Way Back” with the ComicPop listeners a couple of weeks ago. Since then they have made a music video for the single and they wanted our listeners to get a chance to view it. Stalking Gia is sharing with the ComicPop listeners her latest single “Second Nature”. “Second Nature” has a solid bass beat that brings you into the single and then the vocals have a little smokiness to them, throw this all together and you have a Blues quality to the single. Jonathon puts his sites on American Sniper. Logan, Lenny and Richard join him to scout the movie and Navy SEAL Chris Kyle out as Chief Petty Officer Kyle goes on four deployments to Iraq and back home to his resting place.

Ep 44 ComicPop Rockin’ in the Dirt with S21
S21 is a young man with the courage to begin a journey within the Rap music world, from a small country town. S21 asked the ComicPop Crew to listen to his Freshman album It’s Been Real for Way to Long and give him feedback on what is working and what areas need worked on.

Alice Underground is sharing with the ComicPop listeners her jazzy new single “Superman”. This is a fun song for fans of old school Jazz. Alice has a clear sultry voice that hits all the right notes and scats beautifully. Within the song their is a clear homage to Superman with the old theme song reflected in the single at certain points. This one hits our flavors perfectly especially how can it not with the title of “Superman”. I had to include the music video, even though it has no imagery of Superman, because it is just a fun video and the night club scene being in black and the pop of red gives a call out that is very subtle.
