SEE is sharing with the ComicPop listeners her sultry single/music video for “Potions”. This is one that definitely sets a sensual mood to share with your partner. Very nicely done by SEE and the music video that compliments the single is just as steamy. So fall in love with SEE’s music video for her single “Potions” through her YouTube channel – Richard:
The Jake Davis Band is “Saying It Right”!
The Jake Davis Band is sharing their debut single, “Saying It Right”, from their EP The Valley. “Saying It Right” is a fine entry in the pop/electro pop field. It has a clean strong beat that pulls the listener in and Jake’s voice is clear and comes through nicely. Other members of the band are Jordan Meltzer, on guitar, James Harmon, on Bass, and Eddy Barco, on drums. If this is any indication of what the EP will be like it will be a welcome addition to your music collection. Now after saying all of that I would really love to hear Jake do an acoustical version of this song, I think it would add another dimension to the single. Enjoy Jake Davis Band’s “Saying It Right” through SoundCloud – Richard:
Le Boom Wants You to Know “What We Do”
Le Boom is hitting ComicPop up with his music video for “What We Do”. The single has an energetic rhythm to it that will appeal to most of us. The vocal range sounds like Le Boom is singing in a falsetto which some might be wary of, but with the instrumentals blending with his voice “What We Do” works well. Le Boom works in the DJing business and you can definitely feel that influence with the rhythm of the single and the way the music video was constructed. I can see this single being played within a club for everyone to dance to like the dancer in the music video. Check out Le Boom’s music video for “What We Do” through Rooftop Records NYC YouTube channel – Richard:
Pokemon Go! Skit from Nerd Barrage
Wanted to give a shout out to our new friends over at Nerd Barrage, especially Jennifer. We were able to meet Jennifer at this past AFW convention and had a fun time visiting. The skit is one that she edited together with the hosts trying to sway her to join their team on Pokemon Go! Who will Jennifer decide to join up with?! Shocking! Have fun with the skit below and check out their YouTube channel ( https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCKNzMIMrfXjfK8INwY0_Nnw )for more videos – Richard:
Heartracer Sings about Their “Dream Girl”
Heartracer is sharing with the ComicPop listeners their electro/pop single “Dream Girl”. This single has a kinetic energy that will make your body want to move with the rhythm. The single would fit well in a dance club. Heartracer is made up of brothers Chip and Chris Cosby and you can tell they were influenced from the 1980’s style of music. Very fun to listen to and a solid electro/pop single. Enjoy Heartracer’s “Dream Girl”, through SoundCloud, and I can’t wait to see what they come out with next – Richard:
Ripley Sobo’s “Aim High” Single from “Ace the Case” Film
Ripley Sobo is getting the word out about her upcoming film Ace the Case: Manhattan Mystery with the single she sings from the movie “Aim High”. This song has high energy and Ripley (and she’s probably tired of hearing this) is to cute! Ripley is only 10 years old but she has some spunk and has fun with this song and music video. Only time will tell if she stays in the business and becomes a duel threat or chooses acting over singing. Ace the Case is set to come out in select theaters and on demand August 26. So have fun with your children or enjoy it yourself, until then have fun and share Ripley Sobo’s music video for the single “Aim High” through Ace the Case’s YouTube channel – Richard:
Working Those “Day Jobs” with Trishes New Single
Here is the latest single from Trishes, “Day Jobs”, that she is sharing with us here at ComicPop Library. The majority of our listeners will be able to identify with Trishes new single..Trishes is playing with several different things in this single. Her voice is very clear and powerful that I can see singing R&B and Pop. “Day Jobs” falls within the Pop arena, but she is having some fun and experimenting with some sound with the instrumental part of the single. So this might take a few seconds for the average listener to get into, but once you do it works well. Having the experimental feel with also appeal to those that enjoy experimental music. Very well done single and can’t wait to hear more from her. Here is Trishes’ “Day Jobs” through SoundCloud – Richard:

Oblio Releases “Days” Music Video
Oblio shared with us their single “Days” a couple of weeks ago. Now they invite the ComicPop listeners to check out their music video for the single. The video starts out like it’s going to be a simple video where we just watch the band sing the single in a garage. However, shortly into the video it moves forward into a story progression were the band is pay homage to the Screamesque or Slasher movie thrillers. Since I generally like those movies I had fun with this music video and I thank the majority of our listeners will like it to. Here is Oblio’s “Days” music video through their YouTube channel – Richard:
Sol gives us a “Mystery” in Debut Single
Sol is sharing with the ComicPop listeners their debut single “Mystery”. Right away I love the drum intro and then it sliding into the heavy base beat. Sol definitely hits the Electronic/Pop fell with this single. The one isn’t a ramped up song for dancing like crazy. “Mystery” has a slower more alluring sound for a close intimate dance. Interested in what they come out with next, until then here is Sol’s single “Mystery” through SoundCloud – Richard
