The J-Pop group Perfume gets animated in a commercial for Mercedes-Benz’ new A-Class Sport Compact. Yoshiyuki Sadamoto designed the CG Animation featuring Perfume and the animated group dances and sings a song penned by their producer Yasutaka Nakata. AnimeNews Network’s site, linked below, reports that the JPop band Perfume will have one of their songs in the movie and on the album of Disney and Pixar’s Cars 2. Perfume will be heard singing the song “Polyrhythm” at a party the night before the Grand Prix’s World Race race in Japan. Librarians be sure to let your JPop fans know about this so they can listen for it during the movie.
