Otakon has announce that it will feature an exhibit of original Rurouni Kenshin artwork of Nobuhiro Watsuki. Kaoru Kurosaki, the wife of Nobuhiro Watsuki, is the curator of the exhibit. So it you are in the Baltimore, Maryland area during Otakon and the exhibit (August 9 – 11) stop by to enjoy the artwork.
Here is one movie libraries will want to make sure they pick up, for their anime fans, when it becomes available to purchase. The movie is the live action adaptation of Nobuhiro Watsuki’s manga Rurouni Kenshin. Yahoo! Japan movie section released the trailer for the upcoming movie, which is slated for release to theaters in Japan August 25. In 2012 Warner Bros. Japan is planning on the debut of a live action movie of Nobuhiro Watsuki’s Rurouni Kenshin. The movie will star Takeru Satoh as Kenshin. The company is hoping this will become a series of movies if it proves popular enough. Hopefully when this finishes its run the Blu-Ray and/or DVD will be available for the North American market.
