Sonic Game for the Holidays?

Sega has announced that in late 2012 they will be releasing Sonic & All*Stars Racing Transformed.  The game will be available for the X-Box 360, PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita, Nintendo 3DS, and the PC platform.  Thanks to AnimeNews Network and YouTube for the following trailer of the game:

3DS at the Louvre

On April 11, the Louvre art museum began renting Nintendo 3DS’ that provides audio and visual commentary on the works in the museum.  The DS also has a map feature that one can use to navigate the museum and know where they are at within the museum.  The rental fee is approximate $6.50 in U.S. currency and is available in French, English, Japanese, Korean, German, Spanish and Italian.  A new way that gaming systems are making their way into everyday life.  There was no comment on if you own your own 3DS if the app can be downloaded.  So at this point it seems that you have to rent the Louvre’s 3DS’.

On the Run with Sonic

Another game that will be coming out in November is Sonic Generations for the Nintendo 3DS, Playstation 2, and Xbox 360. This is one you can do a display with to get your gamers excited.  If you have any of the Sonic graphic novels or DVD’s they can be used and you could ask a patron that likes Sonic to bring in old game cartridges and packaging.  The individual might even have some of the figures for Sonic that can be added to a display to give an extra punch.  Thanks to AnimeNews Network and Youtube channel IGNentertainment for providing the trailer below.
