Digimon is Back

For all you Card Gamers out there, Bandai is trying again with Digimon as a CCG.  The card game is called Digimon Fusion and is planned for a January release date.  It is based along the lines of the current show on Nickelodeon.  There will be two theme packs (Red and Blue), which will contain 40 cards and have a suggested retail price of $9.99.  There will also be a 60 card set that will be sold in Booster Packs with a suggested price of $3.50.  So here you go collectors more cards for you and you Digimon fans enjoy!

Monsuno Entering the Anime and Trading Card Arena

Nicktoons will be debuting Monsuno on February 23.  So tell you anime and gaming fans in the library to check their local listings for the time.  If you remember the reason gamers will be interested is because it will be supported by a CCG that Topps Cards will be distributing so the gamers will want to check out their local card show and the cards will more than likely be in department stores as well.

New Last Airbender

Nicktoons.com has released a trailer for The Last Airbender: Legend of Korra.  This will be a new animated series, not a sequel to the live action movie.  With this title, the animated series is where it’s at.  The first story was very well done and I am willing to bet this second story will be well done as well.

Nick to Get New Anime Series

AnimeNews Network’s site is reporting that Nickelodeon will be getting a new anime series next spring.  The series is Monsuno, which is about some thrill seeking boys that get their hands on some re-awakened monster DNA.  Hopefully, this will be a good fit for them.  As much as I can tell other companies are licensing the toys and other merchandise, but I have not heard of it being connected to any game.
