Here is something you probably didn’t think you would ever see. AnimeNews Network reports that CAPCOM recently announced Musical Biohazard: Voice of Gaia. The company has tapped Reon Yuzuki (pictured above) to be the lead in the musical, that will feature elements of ballet and action. The first run of the musical will be at Tokyo’s Akasaka ACT Theater from September 30 to October 12.
Didn’t know or think this would happen but it did….Death Note the Musical. HoriPro began streaming a sampling of the songs which you can see below, from their YouTube channel. So Tsugumi Ohba and Takeshi Obata get to see another incarnation of their manga and I have to admit listening to some of the songs they aren’t to bad.
Japan enjoys making all forms of entertainment with successful properties. This time it is the Sailor Moon Musical, Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon. The DVD, of the casts performance, is scheduled for a January 28 release in Japan. The suggested price is 7.800 Yen, which would roughly be $70.00 in U.S. currency. I know that these types of musicals don’t usually do well in the U.S., but maybe it will in Japan. If nothing else that cast and their costumes look amazing! Naruto is played by Kodai Matsuoka, Sasuke is played by Ryuji Sato, Sakura is played by Yui Ito, and lastly Gaara is played by Kenta Suga.
Pitch Perfect proved to the industry last week that it is worthy of a wide release. With just a limited release the movie still made it into the top 10 grossing movies last week. So here it is for everyone else. All of the Glee fans will definitely love it and anyone interested in music will probably have a good time as well. Thanks to YahooMovies for the trailer:
