Cloak & Dagger Sneak Peek

Marvel’s YouTube channel is giving us a sneak peek at the upcoming Cloak & Dagger series that will be on Freeform this June.  The scene is basically the opening where the two leads discover their powers, which is different from the comic book origin.  Cloak & Dagger is a strong story about drug use, overdose, and experimenting with new forms of drugs.  Looks like the Freeform series might be taking a little bit different approach, especially if you are a fan of Cloak & Dagger and now how they received their powers in the comic books.  Here’s the sneak peek from Marvel’s Youtube channel:

Spider-Man “Go Down Swinging” Trailer

Spider-Man’s next major story arc is set to hit this March with Amazing Spider-Man # 797.  The storyline is entitled “Go Down Swinging” and features the Green Goblin and the new Red Goblin.  So all you Spidey fans get ready for the ride.  For those that like collected editions don’t worry it will eventually hit in a collected graphic novel, you’ll just have to wait a bit.  Thanks to Marvel’s YouTube channel for the trailer:

Venom Feature Slated for 2018 Release

ICv2 is reporting that even before Spider-Man: Homecoming hits theaters, Sony is hard at work moving forward with a Venom feature film.  It is reported that Tom Hardy is slated to play Eddie Brock/Venom and the feature will be directed by Ruben Fleischer.  It is slated for a October 2018 release.

Star Trek Discovery Trailer

For all our Star Trek fans and science fiction fans in general here’s the latest trailer for Star Trek Discovery.  CBS All Access falls in the same category as the Netflix series that Marvel has on that platform.  We, as a family, have chosen not to do the multi-platforms and just hope they shows will eventually hit Blu-ray/DVD.  But for all of you that get to watch it when it hits have fun.  Thanks to the Star Trek YouTube channel for the following trailer:
