Since the holiday weekend is upon us I found this fun AMV to share with our listeners. The single is Mariah Carey’s “All I Want For Christmas Is You” and Jasmins Music World’s YouTube channel created a great grin, if not laugh out loud, worthy AMV with it in 2015. Since it’s December this weeks AMV Spotlight is on a Christmas AMV. It was uploaded by YouTuber “winxbilievix100”. It doesn’t have very many views, but I enjoyed it. This person took Mariah Carey’s performance of “All I want for Christmas is You” and added in images of a variety of anime. Notice I said images, this isn’t a traditional AMV that has animation in it. I think because of this I enjoyed it. It is a simple AMV and the images are fun to watch with the catchy background music. Because the AMV uses images, to me, it makes it feel like you are receiving postcards from these characters or they are pictures from a Christmas party that you had with these characters. When you look at it in this way the AMV is great fun. So check it out:
