Our listeners get to share in the music of Lily Elise again with her latest single “Palm Trees”. This time around Lily gives us a ballad to listen to. Lily has a little bit of a smoky raspy voice for this single that works well. So slow it down with Lily Elise’s “Palm Trees” through SoundCloud – Richard:

We spotlighted Lily Elise a couple of different times now on ComicPop and she wants everyone to know that she will be performing live June 14 at Pour Vous in Los Angeles. So any of our listeners that are from that area or visiting the area enjoy an evening listening to Lily and a couple of her friends live! Lily Elise’s Latest Single “Let Me Down”
Lily Elise is back with ComicPop Library so our listeners can enjoy her latest single “Let Me Down”, featuring Made in LA. Lily has a very strong natural voice and it is clearly the feature of her music. Some artists can depend on their instruments to cover their voices, when they are uncomfortable with it, but not here. The vocals are front and center. Lily is playing with an electro/pop and even soul sound in this single. The beat of this single, at times, takes on a slowed down dub step, to me. Lily Elise’s Music Video for “Taken”
Lily Elise is sharing with us the music video for her single “Taken”. Lily has a very nice clear sound that comes through really well on this ballad. The background music has an interesting flow to it and at first was a little distracting, but the more I listened to the single I was taken in by Lily’s voice. Lily Elise’s Single “Taken”
“Taken” is the title track from her upcoming debut EP, Taken. This single is one that when listening to the verses of the song the vocals and instrumentals clash a little and compete against each other. This is a specific style and I’ve heard other pieces that do this same thing. It took me a couple of times to really get into this song because of that clash and then I was used to it and had no trouble. Have a good chorus helped me give “Taken” multiple listenings and really tied this piece together nicely. Check it out through SoundCloud – Richard:
Lily Elise’s Music Video for “Suitcases”
Lily Elise gives us her music video for her single “Suitcases”. Lily has one of those rich full voices that fits well with R&B. I would be interested in hearing her try other genres as well, but she definitely has it going with the R&B sound. Check out the “Suitcases” music video through her YouTube channel – Richard:
Lily Elise Releases Her 1st Single “Generator”
Lily Elise has generated an EP entitled Taken. We have the music video to her first single from Taken, “Generator”, from her YouTube channel.
She starts out with really a nice smooth ballad that she carries well with her Alto sound. Her voice is really clear in the recording and strong enough to stand out over the instruments. For a first single she has a nice sound and I am interested in what else she has for us on her EP – Richard:
