Library Wars by Hiro Arikawa has had several incarnations which I hope the North American market will eventually get. But below is a live action short for Library Wars that Angle Pictures is sharing on their YouTube channel. It is entitled “Toshokan Mini Senso – The First Mission”. It is being shared in preparation of Angle Pictures release of “Toshokan Senso: Book of Memories” special that airs on October 5 in Japan. Here is one movie I hope they bring over to the North American market. It’s the live action film, Library Wars, which stars Junichi Okada as Atsushi Dojo and Nana Eikura as Iku Kasahara. It is scheduled for an April release date in Japan and hopefully before the end of 2013 we will be able to purchase it. This weeks AMV comes from YouTuber ThreeMadCookies. ThreeMadCookies takes the song “I’ll be There for You” performed by The Rembrandts and edits it to scenes from Library Wars. The editing of the cut scenes is really clean and there is no jerkiness to the video. The song fits well with the edited scenes and follows the characters Iku Kasahara and Atsushi Dojo well. If one has read or watched Library Wars you will know that this song fits the show well and that ThreeMadCookies did a great job in selecting it for this AMV.
