Lego is doing a one, two punch it seems with their Lego Batman Movie and then in September the are releasing Lego Ninjago Movie. Thanks to MovieClips Trailers YouTube channel for the following trailer:
A Lego Brickumentary is one that If you are a Lego fan you might want to add this to your personal library. For libraries this would probably go over well if you have avid Lego fans that come in to check out the Lego DVD’s and books. This kind of flew under the radar last year and if you didn’t know it was out there you probably would know about it. Thanks to Movieclips Film Festivals & Indie Films YouTube channel for the trailer:
Check out this very cool Lego set that was mentioned on Yahoo’s site. Pun definitely intended since Lego set is for the Star Wars: Assault on Hoth playset, from Empire Strikes Back. This set has 2,144 pieces and will set you back $250 suggested retail price. Of course if you are a Lego fan price sometimes isn’t an obstacle. The set is has a schedule shelf date of May 1, so if price is something you have to consider, start saving now.
I know Lego Dimensions has been out for a while, but I just came across one of Lego’s extended trailers that I hadn’t seen before and thought it was fun and wanted to share. This almost feels like a short more than a trailer which features Joel McHale of E! Network’s The Soup and The Community. Check it out through GameSpot’s YouTube channel, just to get a smile on your face:
Check out this awesome Lego construct of the Hyrule Castle, from the Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess video game. Joseph Zawada was the builder and he states it took him 2 years to complete the project. Thanks to AnimeNews Network for this cool notification. The “Beyond the Brick” YouTube channel has a video of him discussing it so check it out:
For all you Lego fans out there….Look what’s coming in August. Lego has teamed up with Scooby-Doo to bring those meddling kids to you in brick form. They are testing the new license with three sets that include the: Mystery Machine; Haunted Lighthouse; and Mummy Museum. I didn’t get into lego when I was yound and still don’t collect them now, but that doesn’t mean I don’t think they are cool looking. Have fun building this August.
