Hyrule Warriors: Legends Video

Most of you will be picking this up, especially those that follow The Legend of ZeldaHyrule Warriors: Legends is set for a North American release for March 25, this Friday.  Nintendo’s YouTube channel is streaming a gameplay video of the character Linkle for everyone to watch.  Hyrule Warriros: Legends is available for the Nintendo 3DS, so everyone enjoy your gaming!:

Legend of Zelda Symphony of the Goddesses on The Late Show

In case you missed it The Late Show with Stephen Colbert YouTube channel is streaming the performance of the Legend of Zelda Symphony of the Goddesses.  This happened last night during the show and it was a great performance.  A huge thank you to Stephen Colbert and the Late Show for sharing this with fans of both his show and the Symphony that were unable to watch last night for one reason or another.   Enjoy!

Brick Fair Virginia Hyrule Castle

Check out this awesome Lego construct of the Hyrule Castle, from the Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess video game.  Joseph Zawada was the builder and he states it took him 2 years to complete the project.  Thanks to AnimeNews Network for this cool notification.  The “Beyond the Brick” YouTube channel has a video of him discussing it so check it out:

New Zelda Graphic Novel

For gamers and graphic novel lovers The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past will generate interest.  The graphic novel is being published by Perfect Square and is slated for a May 2015 release.

Lindsey Stirling Covers “Senbonzakura”

Classically trained violinist, Lindsey Stirling, likes to have fun with her music.  She has done several covers that include Dragon Age, Legend of Zelda, Halo, Assassin’s Creed, and now Hatsune Miku’s “Senbonzakura”  The music video she did for “Senbonzakura” is also very nice and artistic in nature.  Below is the “Senbonzakura” music video along with her Dragon Age cover music video from Lindsey’s YouTube channel.   Check them both out and go to her channel on YouTube to find even more great videos.

Fan Lego Sets Under Consideration

Here are some possible Lego sets for the future.  During the year Lego takes Fan Concepts and if they get 10,000 supporters for their concept then the Lego company will consider it for an official set by Lego.  In this go around some of the concepts that Lego will be looking at are: Macross sets; Legend of Zelda sets; Sherlock sets and; Back to the Future sets.  We also get a look at the Marcross Fan Concept in a YouTube video by “maxvf1”.  Thanks to AnimeNews Network for the heads up and be sure to check out the video:

Hyrule Historia Trailer

This is one title that might get your gamers interested in your library’s print collection.  Nintendo and Dark Horse have teamed up to bring us, Legend of Zelda: Hyrule Historia.  I have mine on order do you have yours on order.  Thanks to YouTuber “IGNentertainment” for the following trailer:

History of Zelda

Dark Horse Comics will be publishing The Legend of Zelda: Hyrule Historia Encyclopedia.  It is scheduled for release on January 16, 2013.  The Encyclopedia will be a full history of Zelda, it will be in color and have an introduction by Shigeru Miyamoto.  This is one that will be of interest for your Zelda players and video gamers as well.
