Sol is sharing with the ComicPop listeners their debut single “Mystery”. Right away I love the drum intro and then it sliding into the heavy base beat. Sol definitely hits the Electronic/Pop fell with this single. The one isn’t a ramped up song for dancing like crazy. “Mystery” has a slower more alluring sound for a close intimate dance. The single “Villain” is being shared with our listener’s from Kyle Britton’s upcoming EP Riddle, scheduled for a June 10 release date. “Villain” kind of feels like an old western ballad at the beginning and then it shifts to a heavier beat. However, even the the drums heavier beat it feels like war drums. It’s a different sound for that I think our you will enjoy, because of the sense of gravity in the single. We featured Maggie Szabo’s single “Forgive and Forget” a while back and now she has released the music video for the single. Maggie’s single is a strong and haunting piece and the video has those tones as well. There are some lighter areas as well when the video shifts to its dancing scenes, which Dancing with the Stars fans will enjoy. For the video Maggie gets to share the screen with Vampire Diaries actor Chris Brochu which several will enjoy as well. Laura Jean Anderson is sharing with the ComicPop listeners her single “It Won’t Be Long”, from her A Righteous Girl EP, which comes out March 4. Laura has what I consider a smoky voice. It’s not a heavy smoky voice, but it has an element of smokiness to it. With this alone listeners will gravitate to her music, because that type of voice captivates many people. The style of the single “It Won’t be Long” is in that folk/rock area of music. This would fit comfortably in a country listeners playlist, but she has that rock feel that will have crossover appeal as well.
