Butcher’s Blind is sharing with ComicPop listeners their single “Black & White Dreams” from their Place In America EP, This single has a nice rhythm that I gravitated to immediately. The style of this song and the tone of the lead singers voice is very reminiscent of a Jackson Browne song. The band Dawes will be playing at SXSW along with several other bands. If you are in the area you will have some great music to listen to. Below is a sample from their upcoming album Stories Don’t End, “From My Window Seat”. When the lead singer of Dawes started sing my mind immediately flashed to Jackson Browne. The way he sings is really reminiscent of Jackson Browne’s sound. So if you know anybody that is a Jackson Browne fan, let them know about Dawes they might enjoy it.
