You Need to Dig some Dead Flowers

museDead Flowers

Why would someone send you Dead Flowers….when they are fresh!  Yes I’m having some fun.  We get a taste of the band Dead Flowers through the Chevy Music Showcase-North Texas YouTube channel.  In the video they sing “I Won’t Go”.  The band has that Southern Rock band feel that many love.  So dig you some Dead Flowers and see them during their tour if they come to your area – Richard:

Hey gang I just listened to some of Brick & Mortars singles.  This one is kind of a hard one to pin down for me.  I can hear different influences in the different titles.  In “Bangs” you definitely hear the hard rock influence, but then you have some traditional rock feel and alternative rock in another.  So the band is kind of all over for me, which isn’t a bad thing, it means they have variety on their EP.  What I really enjoy is that no matter what the style you can clearly hear and understand the lead vocals.  Kind of hard to do with some of the styles they perform.
Asbury Park, NJ’s Brick & Mortar are Brandon Asraf (bass, vocals) and John Tacon (drums, samples, vocals). The duo may have chosen to name themselves after building essentials, but at this point, they’re veritably blowing up.
