Hatsune Miku Song Released by Sega

Here is one for you J-Poppers.  The Weekly Diva Station, the official Sega blog for the Hatsune Miku – Project Diva has released “Summer Idol” by Oster Project from the new Hatsune Miku – Project Diva – f game.  The company did this in conjunction with Japan’s Marine Day today.  Thanks to Sega for posting this for everyone.  It’s a great upbeat summer song that has a catchy tune.

One Night only…Hatsune Miku

If you happen to live in the Baltimore, Boston, Chicago, Houston, Los Angeles, New York, Orange, San Francisco, or Seattle areas and happen to like J-Pop you will want to check around at your local concert venues.  The Vocaloid Hatsune Miku on November 10 will be broadcasting a concert to these 9 cities.  This is a one night event only, so check your area to find out where the concert will be broadcast and join in on this music event.

Vocaloid’s at J-Pop Summit

AnimeNews Network is letting everyone know about an upcoming J-Pop Summit Festival to be held in San Francisco, August 27 and 28.  On August 27, the summit will feature a “Miku Mix DJ Battle” between ZANEEDS and underground DJ Amaya on the main stage in Peace Plaza.  On the 28 a panel session will feature ZANEEDS who create songs with synthesized vocals of Hatsune Miku and other Vocaliods.  During the panel there will be screenings of several music videos.  The conference will also feature Ikura and Kozue who are members of the vocaliod music dance unit DANCEROID.
