ICv2 is reporting that Graham King’s GK Films and Johnny Depp’s Infinitum Nihil has gotten the rights to Sam Sarkar’s The Vault. The Vault is a three issue treasure hunting story that is being published by Image Comics. Movies and comics are moving at a fast pace anymore, because the rights, like for The Vault were optioned and the 1st issue isn’t even out or just barely out on stands. It sounded interesting so I am picking it up to read.
ICv2’s site is reporting that GK Films has hired Mark Fergus and Hawk Ostby to write the script for the new Tomb Raider movie. GK Films is aiming for a 2013 release for this film. This will be of interest to gamers and patrons that like comic books.
ICv2 reports that Graham King, GK Films, has acquired the rights to the Tomb Raider film rights. The site mentions Angelina Jolie, but really she has had her turn. Time for some new blood.
