Logan found the Mystery Skulls and had me give it a listen and all I have to say is way cool! I love their single “Ghost”. It has a catchy beat that once you start the song it captures you until it’s done. Then on top of that they have a Scooby-Doo and the Mystery Machine inspired animated music video just brings it home for me. I love it, and encourage everyone to check them out on YouTube for some fun through MysteryBen27’s channel – Richard:
HYDDE’s New Single “Ghost”
HYDDE is sharing his recent single “Ghost” that features HAWKES. You could call this electronica/soul. The instrumentals hits the electronic sound while the vocals have a strong soul feel to them. This is an interesting mix. The single is very clean and crisp and really enjoyable. Anyone that has been through a breakup will connect with the lyrics as well. When a breakup is recent one can find themselves still expecting that person to come walking through the door. You can check out HYDDE’s single “Ghost” through SoundCloud – Richard:

Ghost Loft Remix of RAJ’s “Ghost”
RÁJ
GHOST LOFT REMIXES BUZZY SINGLE “GHOST”
LISTEN HERE
“Ghost” Video by RAJ
RÁJ
Shot on location in Budapest, amidst grey skies, rain puddles, and old city streets, it tells the story of a woman whose brittle hands and mournful visage belie the lavish attention she gets from the men around the city.Much of the video is about movement: trams running through the beautiful cityscape, bus rides, rain drops, walking home from work. But it is also about stasis: about the invisibility we battle on a daily basis, stuck in patterns and relationships and roles that we feel powerless to change. In other words, the video is about being a ghost. Or, as Heidegger would say, it’s about fallenness. While it might be a little much to call RÁJ a modern-day Heidegger, he’s clearly onto something poignant here.
RAJ releases A “Ghost” to the Airwaves
Left-field artist RÁJ is mysterious — even we don’t know who he is. And like Jai Paul or Burial before him, he’s a singular voice, one whose mysteriousness aids his sly, tough to pin down songs.
“Ghost” is a slow burner that draws the sonic hallmarks of beat culture into the realm of actual songcraft, like Bon Iver collaborating with Bibio. As it builds, RÁJ carries the song into high drama territory, with an intensity that sounds like a male Florence Welch.
