We are just having fun reviewing and discussing comic books, graphic novels, manga, anime/animation, music and movies that we have recently read, listened to or watched.
Here is Frank Miller’s third installment of the Dark Knight series. This volume collects the Batman The Dark Knight: Master Race series into one complete volume. This is a nice addition to the previous Dark Knight volumes that Frank Miller started with in his The Dark Knight Returns. Here’s the trailer through DC Entertainment’s YouTube channel:
I know this hasn’t even hit the shelves yet, but this is one that library’s and if you personally like graphic novels instead of comic books it will be collected into a single volume. I’m talking about Dark Knight III: The Master Race by Frank Miller and Brian Azzarello. If you are like me and have the floppys I will be getting the individual issues to go along with the other two mini-series. I’m a Batman fan so you know I’ll be there.
Warner Premiere is releasing the adaptation of Frank Miller’s The Dark Knight Returns from DC Comics. Their is no release date as of this time, but libraries will want to add this to their animation collections when it becomes available to purchase. ICv2 reporting from Comic Con reports that Warner Animation announced their next three DC projects. First up will be Justice League: Doom based on Mark Waid’s story “Tower of Babel”. Second will be Superman vs. The Elite which is based on Joe Kelly’s “What’s so Funny About Truth, Justice and the American Way” story. Last was the big one, Batman: Dark Night Returns from the same titled Frank Miller mini series. It looks like the next year will be a great on for DC animated features.
ICv2 reports that the next, direct to DVD, animated movie coming from DC Comics and Warner Animation will be an adaptation of Frank Miller’s Batman: Year One. Watch the promo video for this new movie below.
