The X-Files is Back!

The X-Files is back and I’m am one happy camper!  January 24, 2016, the debut of The X-Files mini-series will happen and I plan on being right there in front of my TV for it.  If you couldn’t tell this was one of my favorite series.  To me a mini-series makes more sense for this show than feature films ever did.  The X-Files were about the story and crafting it really well, which to me just can’t be done in a film.  I think studios are starting to realize that and that is why we are seeing so many TV shows based on different properties rather than movies.  Anyway, just wanted to share the trailer with you…I know I’m behind…still enjoy it from FOX’s YouTube channel:

Lucifer TV Trailer

Lucifer-Thumb-600x350

The Lucifer television series actually looks pretty good.  I’ve read some of the comic, but not much so I can’t tell how true it will be to the source material, but the trailer looks like it will be a fun and interesting ride.  Thanks to Fox’s YouTube channel for the trailer:

Gotham Trailer

FOX’s YouTube channel has officially released the trailer for the upcoming television series Gotham.  It looks decent, but I’m kind of on the fence with this one.  I’ll have to watch some episodes to see if I can get into the show.  Anyway check out the trailer below:

Fox Looking at Gotham

ICv2 is reporting that the FOX network has placed and order for a Gotham series after a bidding war between networks.  The show will feature a young Commissioner Gordon and will not feature Batman.  It is to be along the lines of the old DC Comics series Gotham Central, which some of you might have in your collections.

New Daredevil Movie

ICv2 is reporting that 20th Century Fox is taking another chance with the Daredevil movie rights.  The company has hired David Slade to director the new Daredevil movie.  As in all things dealing with the movie industry things can change on a dime.  If your library has any Daredevil fans you might mention that Fox is looking at this property again.  Jump to the full article below.
