This is Just The Beginning of I love the soul feeling I get from the first notes, it instantly puts me in the right mood. I love the lyrics and voice quality of Joe Collins’ voice. It reminds me a bit of the 50s when he spreads his vowels out more and goes into his higher register. The instrumentals aren’t lacking either. The percussion is to die for and the bass has a great feel to it. Every part is solid and works together like a well oiled soul train. I’m definitely going to be listening to this group more often. -April B.
