Gaming Diorama at GenCon

GenCon

I just had to share this diorama from the 2015 GenCon, that ICv2 has on their site.  This diorama was built I believe by the company Pulposaurus Entertainment and not a gamer to help gather interest in their KickStarter for the game Conan: Rise of Monsters game they want to produce and launch.  This is just to cool looking!  If they would sell the diorama with the game I think several gamers would be interested.  If you want to check it out jump on over for more information – https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/2060871444/conan-rise-of-monsters?ref=nav_search

Frazetta Contest

If you have some patrons that need something to do this week and holiday weekend let them know about Dark Horse’s Frazetta Contest.  Dark Horse wants the person to take a picture re-enacting a Frazetta Conan cover of their choice.  If there are multiple people on the cover you can use friends to pose with you.  If you are 18 and older you can enter the contest by July 4th.  Two winners will be chosen and they will receive all eight Conan: The Frazetta Series cover titles.  Link below for more information.

New Conan Trailer

Here’s a new trailer for the upcoming Conan the Barbarian movie, provided by Yahoo Movies.  This movie will not only appeal to you fantasy fans in the library, but comic book fans as well.  There have been different versions of Conan within the comic book medium.  The one I remember most is the Marvel run.
