Scam Avenue is sharing with the ComicPop listeners their music video for “Sailor”. With “Sailor” this band is definitely placing their sound squarely in the New Wave sound of the 1980’s. The sound is reminiscent to something Human League would produce and for me this is gravy. Being a child of the ’80’s I eat this music up. The music video has parts where the vocalists are walking down the street until they meet each other. However, for me the more unique thing that I enjoy was when the duo was on screen and the instruments were laid over their images…very cool effect. Scam Avenue’s EP should be available on your digital downloaders. To give you a taste of their sound here is Scam Avenue’s music video for “Sailor” through their YouTube channel – Richard

Romance & Rebellion’s “Vanity Fair” Music Video
Romance & Rebellion is sharing with our listeners their music video for their single “Vanity Fair”. The single is a strong call back to the 1980’s with a nicely paced electro ballad. The pacing of the single is so that it keeps the listener pulled in, it’s not slow or to fast. I guess you could say it’s just right. The music video is a straight up performance type video as if the band was playing at a prom. Romance & Rebellion is working on a self titled EP that “Vanity Fair” is part of so until you can get the EP enjoy their “Vanity Fair” music video through their YouTube channel – Richard:

Justin Baron Catchy “Girl with an Ego”
Justin Baron is giving the ComicPop listeners an earful with his latest single “Girl with an Ego”. This is a strong entry into the pop field. With the hard beating drum beats and Justin’s strong vocals make this single a lot of fun. If you want a song to get you up out of your seat and move this is one that does it for me. Definitely interested in hearing more from him with his upcoming EP Craving. Until than here is Justin Baron’s “Girl with an Ego” for everyone to groove to through SoundCloud – Richard:

Wild Fur’s Latest Single “Can You See Me”
Wild Fur is sharing with our listeners their latest single “Can You See Me”, from their upcoming album Feel Free. Wild Fur is the duo of Wylie Hunter and Nick Jaeger and with this single they take use the music stylings of the late 1960’s to Early 1970’s. The single has that electronic sound that is in the flower power and psychedelic arena, but it isn’t heavy handed. The single still has that slight pop feel to it that will attract listeners to its sound. Wild Fur’s album, Fell Free, is scheduled for a November 4 release, but until then here is “Can You See Me” through SoundCloud – Richard:
