Ep 90 ComicPop Visits with Rhonda Rees of Rhonda Rees Public Relations Company

ComicPop’s friend Rhonda Rees is back visiting. If you remember Rhonda is the owner of her own public relations company and when we last visited with her we talked about her book, Profit and Prosper with Public Relations, and her advocacy for Online Book Piracy.

In this visit Rhonda gives first hand accounts of her past year of upheaval by going through one of last years California fires and losing pretty much everything, to just recently riding out the earthquakes in California.

One never knows what life will throw at you, but Rhonda is talking everything in stride and adding the experiences to her life story. Ep 13 ComicPop Game Play With “Yu-Gi-Oh! Destiny Masters Speed Duel Decks”

In this episode Logan and Richard check out one of Konami’s newest ways to play the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card game using Speed Duel Decks.  This go around we look at Destiny Masters Speed Duel Decks.  Each box contains 3 specific character duel decks.  One is Yami Yugi themed, another is Ishizu Ishtar themed, and the third is Pegasus themed.  The decks include 20 cards per deck, 3 skill cards per each deck (specific to the character), and 1 Ultra Rare variant card per deck.  See what we think about the speed duel decks.  Many thanks to Konami and Hill and Knowlton Strategies for their continued support of ComicPop Library in providing us with samples.

Kat Holland’s Music Video for “The One”

Kat Holland is sharing with out listeners her single “The One”, through her YouTube channel. Kat is invoking a smooth rhythmic sound with this single. The instrumentals give it a flare of pop, but Kat’s vocals come across very smooth. Blending in the Jazz and Pop feel I really like and can’t wait to her what else she gives us to hear. Her EP Retrovision is scheduled for a March 22 drop so be sure to keep an eye out for it from you digital vendor of choice. Ep 44 ComicPop…corn Movies – “The Collector”

What do you collect? We love collecting our collections of books, comics/manga, movies, toys, and trading card games. As a collector you would think a movie entitled The Collector would be great for us. It is a good fit for us, but in a different way than what you might expect.
